Erin Mirabella - U.S. Olympic Medalist

Erin Mirabella was honored to represent the United States at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games in track cycling.  She became a Christian in 1998 and was awe struck by the way God worked throughout her cycling career.  Erin's career highlight came at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where she placed 4th in the points race.  In 2006, she was the recipient of the prestigious Jack Kelly Fair Play Award for sportsmanship. Erin has used her experiences as an Olympic athlete to create a series of children's books, The Barnsville Sports Squad.  The newest book in the series, Shawn Sheep The Soccer Star, was released July, 2008.  Erin lives with her husband Chris, son Micah, and daughter Lindsey in Woodland Park, CO. 

Erin will share the roller coaster story of her selection to and competition in the 2004 Olympic Games. She will explain the amazing role that God played throughout the Olympic year and how she learned to be content with Gods gifts and to place her trust in Christ in the good and bad times.

She has 3 grown children and 8 grandchildren, and building her ministy, "Peace in the Pressure-Cooker."
