Self Defense (P.A.S.S. Program)
The Personal Awareness, Safety, and Security Program (P.A.S.S.) is designed to give each student greater self confidence while teaching them the self-protection skills needed to survive a violent encounter. The class is taught in a hands-on manner, with a dose of realism added to the mix.  Students are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the program, but it is not mandatory.  Each student will be taught and drilled at the level that they are comfortable with.

The program will cover the following skills:

  • Identifying a potential threat
  • Verbal de-escalation skills
  • Knowing when to react
  • Physical self-defense skills

The P.A.S.S. program is concept based, not specific technique based.  This approach ensures a much higher retention rate among students.  Plus, learning to defend yourself builds confidence that carries over into all areas of a student’s life.  After completing the P.A.S.S. program, students have found the confidence to take on new challenges they once thought impossible.
